Austin's school had a fall festival on the 26th of September and we volunteered to help with the "Cake Walk". This is something new to me, I had never heard of it before. I'll tell you it's a great way to make some $$ for the school. Which was the reason for the fall festival. What happens in a cake walk is the school asks parents to donate cakes and stuff to the school the day before or the day of the festival (they can be store bought cakes or homemade). Then the cakes are placed on a table and about 20 chairs are lined up around the table. The person in charge will play some music for about 30-45 seconds and then when the music stops you find a seat on one of the numbered chairs (almost like musical chairs). The person in charge then calls out a number and the person in that chair is then allowed to choose a cake from the table. The cost to play is only a dollar per person, so it's a cheap game to play and a great way for the school to make $20.00 a cake. Well Austin and I made a cake that never quite made it to the Cake walk :( . I didn't have a container to put it in and it was raining bad the day of the drop off. I know I am a bad parent, but I did go to work the cake walk for over an hour. Here are some pictures of our cake and Austin licking the spatula.

Austin occasionally is a super hero, pirate or whatever...this day he was Indiana Jones! His ears are sooo cute!

I have no idea what this is, but I know that Charley taught it to him.
