The Amazing maize maze

My office sometimes does little things here and there for their employees, just for fun. Around this time of the year they invite us out to a 2 1/2 mile long maze in a corn field, hence the name "Amazing Maize maze". Now last year we did the maze too, and our objective this year was to beat our time from the year before, which was 32 minutes. This year we blew our past records out of the water! This year we completed the maze in 16 minutes!!! The maze people say that children are really good at these things and we should let the kids lead. It is the truth, Austin is so good at this. He is a-Maze-ing!

On the ride home we passed a house that had about 30 turkeys in the front yard. I was so excited to see so many that I begged Charley to turn around so I could take a picture of them. So we made a U-E and pulled up next to the flock. Charley decided to chirp at them, and they started to chirp back. Then I decided I would try to gobble at them and low and behold, it sounded like all of them gobbled back. It was so loud. I turned to Charley , with what he describes as a face of glee. He may be right, it was sooo cool! Later on our family went out for dinner with our neighbors and Austin being so proud of his mother told them' "My mom speaks turkey". LOL!

Last but not least, we registered at Babies 'r' us. I may have gone over board with all the stuff I put on there, but it's been so long since I had a baby and the store is so far away, I figured that I could just cram it all in :)
