Slacker!!!

Here I am! I am alive.....I have just been slacking (which I think I am entitled :) Anyway, here is an update on the past few weeks.

1) Austin has been having issues at school. I swear 1st grade is the most difficult. He has had 2, count them, 2 incidents in the bathroom at school. The first was what we thought to be an innocent show and tell. Austin showed his private part and the kids went to tell. The second and more recent incident was the week of Thanksgiving. Austin touched a little boys private part. NOT COOL! There are several reasons as to why this is not cool! Firstly his curiosity or whatever you want to call it, made him violate another child, and secondly after 2 incidents in the bathroom the Principal is involved. Lastly, if there is ever a third (God so help him!) child protective services gets involved. NOT COOL!

2) Charley's Dad was here for a grand total of ssssiiiiiiixxxxx days! Wow, all I can say is exhausting and exhausting!

3) I have not posted any belly pix and I am sorry, Like the title of this blog, I am a slacker. Right now as of this morning I am 145.5lbs and my belly measures 38 1/4" around. Yes I have lost a few pounds; however I contribute that to lack of sleep (which I recoup during the day if possible), family visiting and SHOPPING! My new least favorite thing.......I really hope that the enjoyment of shopping comes back to life after the baby is born. I don't think I would be a complete woman if that happened.

4) I have a new guilty pleasure; The Twilight series! I loooooooovvvve them to the point of obsession. I might love them so much because they were very helpful in getting me through the past six days of holiday company. And they are a nice distraction from everyday life. I have also seen the movie twice (physco!). First I saw it with Charley and I don't think he or I enjoyed it as much as we thought. There were a lot of hidden meanings and deliberate actions in the movie that you wouldn't understand unless you read the book. And at that point I had only read bits and pieces. The second time I saw it, I saw it with perfect clarity. Needless to say I am now on the third book (fourth if you count midnight sun). I would much rather read than work, but I don't think that is possible.

5) I have a Dr's appointment today and I have a laundry list of questions/complaints.

*Can I take Tylenol PM?
*I think I pulled a stomach muscle
*My sciatic nerve is killing me
*Am I gaining enough weight?
*I think I want a c-section
*When can we schedule it?
*Can I have a profile picture of Jackson?

6) Baby Showers- Charley wants to get it over with and put one together soon (I kind of agree), but Joanne was supposed to do it with me and she wants to do it a t a later date. I wanted to do it in December, but.... Also some friends at work are planning one for me in January. I kind of want to just buy the stuff myself, but I know I can't afford to. I just know that times are tough for everyone and I hate someone having to spend their hard earned money on me and the baby. But I am stocking up on stuff slowly, but surely. So that might ease some of my feelings.


I think that all I have to blog about for now. Sorry no pictures, I will put some up in the next post.
