Yesterday was super emotional for me, Not only did we find out our new baby is growing perfectly and healthy and it is a BOY, but I also got some bad news. A dear friend of mine has a small child who was recently diagnosed with a very frightening illness. This is one that can be cured, but nevertheless devastating to hear. I pray with all my heart for her and her child that her recovery is swift and there are no lingering effects of the treatment; as well as a clean bill of health for the child after the treatment is over. This person is very dear to me and I want her to know that there are people praying for her and her family. Also I spoke to my Mother yesterday and she informed me that my Uncle has been hospitalized for a blood clot in his lungs. I have know idea of the severity, as of yet. I only know that this is a serious condition. From what I gather he is still in the hospital and he is not out of the woods just yet. My Aunt is very concerned, as she should be. But if anyone could please put these people on their prayer list, they and I would appreciate it.
On a better note, our plans have gone into motion, yesterday Charley and I bought a crib! Woo Hoo! I found it on Craig's list and paid $100.00 for it. It is really nice and it matches perfectly to the Glider rocker we got from some friends at work. The reason I praise God is because I have faith, thank you God, for all you do! What better time than now to offer it to him? I exalt you!
